She, in particular was able to hold a conversation after 20+ miles on the hill, and they both had this supremely lovely running style that just looked <em>effortless</em>. We went from Annan, so pretty close to Carlisle. Generally it was glorious and South to North is def the right way - I go Ed -&gt; Moffat quite often and curse the dratted prevailing wind every time</p> <p>Our route is below.
