Plenty of bell-ringing and I was home in less than 20 mins. For instance used to be you could walk from Gorgie, through the distillery and out at western approach road. Not sure if that is still a route.</p> <p>Or if driving often up very early and parked at murrayfield then off to the drinking. Hospitality tents etc.</p> <p>There isn't so much of this at football stadia. Today's match between hope arts and rangers at 35,000 is big for hearts and largely the difference between home game at tynecastle beng huge number of away supporters. The use of coaches to get to football games is incredibly commonplace. They do all tend to arrive just before the game. So whilst the build u to rugby at murrayfield is incremental. The football crowd all arrive in a oner.
