It's a notorious bit of road for crashes, mainly because it's a straight stretch so people try and overtake on it (often with some overconfidence in their car's ability to provide the requisite acceleration), without taking into account the turn offs and blind summit. </p> <p>However, the report says the coach was travelling in the same direction as the cyclists.
