I was delighted to see that the gate/chicane at the Ravelston Dykes entry, and the one 50 yards further down, have gone, with just a bollard at the top and the remnants of the fence at the lower one. There's plenty of chance for a new path to have chicanes installed prior to opening.</p> <p>Dropped kerbs are more expensive than either paint or posts and not a lot harder it install. Coates Terrace entrance hasn't had chicanes for donkey's. I like the way that the gutters have been removed or smoothed at a lot of the entrances.
