He wrote to the council along with many others to complain about the overflowing bins on the estate where he lives and the surrounding area. </p> <p>Received a lovely letter back saying (I'm paraphrasing from a second hand story btw) "Thanks so much for your enquiry and bringing this to our attention. Green but with a big crack in it. Not selling it. It also has a carpet in it that I bought at saughton carpets when realised we put a decent floor down after eldest's seventeenth but before her eighteenth. I'm not sure if they've been deliberately removed by the council, or if more nefarious forces are at work; currently waiting for a response from the council.</p> <p>Is this happening elsewhere in Edinburgh? </p>
