<description>&#60;p&#62;Yes - the closed route is through private area but was agreed as part of the plan to enhance 'permeability' between the levels. Been open for several years now although not exactly signposted. So now have a locked gate instead. This though will be useful for festival posters and catching discarded rubbish. The laws of unintended consequences never rest!

Wonder why this is now 'permanently closed'? Next close up to Guthrie St via Belle Angel and Mash House is open.&#60;/p&#62;
