ours both went in from about 5 months - they recommend it for 6-18 months.... With the harness set right they are well protected I think.

Quite interested - what sort of connector does it use?
Also what age child can go in the baby harness thingy?

Hello,

I am putting this here before I go elsewhere in case there are any local families who would like one of these:

https://www.twowheelingtots.com/thule-chariot-cougar-2-cheetah-2-review-and-comparison/

I got it second hand some years ago - I guess we have done 3-4 thousand miles with it. Some bits have been replaced but it's by far the best quality bit of cycling kit we have. It has a baby insert, the jogging attachment etc... it's a bit scruffy in places but ultimately it's still as sturdy and as functional as it was when I bought it.

For me the big selling point is the harness system - when properly strapped in they feel very secure in it. The suspension is also quite handy if you're going off road. It's got loads of carrying space and it's great as a buggy when you get where you're going too.

I have loads of pictures but if anyone is interested the best thing would be to borrow it and give it a go. I have two of the correct bike attachments to go with it. Price is £250 - I think that's fair - they sold for around £900 new with all the bits I have. I bought it for £400 second hand.

Twigs, pebbles and crumbs available via separate negotiation (apologies for hastily taken badly prepared pic)

.
