<description>&#60;p&#62;Lots of people abuse the motorcycle equivalent (handlebar muffs) on style grounds... but lots of hill farmers pay good money for them and most professional riders wouldn't contemplate winter without them.&#60;br /&#62;
Frankly brilliant on a motorbike. (esp combined with heated grips, Mmmmmm lovely ;-))&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However... on a bicycle I tend to find the exercise keeps me warm (even my hands despite mild white finger) so not needed for the sort of cycling I do, so far!

<description>&#60;p&#62;Nah. What happens in strong sidewinds? You'd still need normal glubs on underneath to prevent sudden chills when signalling. If it rained the rain would still run down your sleeves but would pool at the bottom and make your bar tape go all mouldy.
