See also aldous Huxley.

Nice piece by Mike Small. Just missing from the manifesto - you will write excellent satirical pieces for a magazine that has a low circulation and a little higher readership. But this won't make you feel any better.

“

From Malthus to the Millennium Bug, apocalyptic thinking has a poor track record. But when it issues from Hillman, it may be worth paying attention.

“

Didn’t realise he was still alive!

He talked sense in the past, I’m sure he still does.

"Can you imagine the global airline industry being dismantled when hundreds of new runways are being built right now all over the world?"

If Brexit makes air travel more expensive then it could have a green side-effect. Edinburgh Airport should then stop expanding much past 15 million passengers. Small beer to growth in India and elsewhere though.

Interestingly(!) the growth in Edinburgh is now two years ahead of schedule as the 13 million figure was target for 2020. If only other forms of public transport could perform like that (joke).
