I went to add a mileage expense in my accounting software and it threw an error saying that as I own the business I can't claim for mileage by bike. </p> <p>I'm a photographer, and sole trader and was really looking forward to claiming last weeks 1100km ride to the south of France...totally legitimately work related and much more enjoyable than driving the same distance. </p>
