Carradice Barley saddlebag on the back, pair of Alpkit stem cells, and an Alpkit Kanga handlebar harness holding drybag. Drybag contains bivvi bag, compact down jacket, and inflatable sleeping mat. Sleeping liner, tools, spare socks and top etc in saddle bag.</p> <p>The Capital Trail is doable on a cross bike in reasonably dry conditions, but I think I'd want a mountain bike if I was to go round again. I was on my journey home from kirkbride airfield with tent. I cycled some trail routes last summer. A power pack is important i think as with no electric if away for a few days need lights and phone. Possibly a spare tyre in case tyre splits.
