The owner warned me a local was eyeing it. I had the battery in the shop with me.</p> <p>There has been success (first software retrieved the file structure but folders empty). Second software retrieved all the files but in a bit of a random order. However, the person I was doing this for has located what they needed. But like was said could be 50/50. I have a few spare old laptops that run ubuntu if you want to borrow one - I think you live not too far away.
