After all, it is fairly predictable with where it'll be and when! We don't even have a official confirmation that he ran a red light, however likely it seems, nor that he was conscious at the time of the crash. I think this is the first serious injury a tram has been involved in and the first time one has derailed. Unless the circumstances of this one prove quite unusual I don't think the tram was at fault. In fact, I don't think an Edinburgh tram ever been at fault in an accident yet.
