went to Marriott, had meeting, had overpriced coffee & bacon sarnie, pedalled to office. 34 mostly delightful kms.

I'd go LD's route you'll recognise most of it too.

Broomhouse Drive / Bankhead Drive / S Gyle Access (meh) / South Gyle Wynd to the South Gyle station / path into Gyle Park (past David Lloyd Gym etc) then onto the Glasgow Road a short distance from the hotel?

This is my daily commute. Can you come off the tram path at Balgreen tram stop instead, then follow route 9? i.e:

https://bit.ly/2KvVfOK

Otherwise maybe north on Carrick Knowe Avenue from Saughton tram stop, then left on to Meadowhouse Road.

Anyone know how easy / hard it will be getting to the Marriott @ Maybury ?

I can take the tram path as far as Saughton Rd, then I need to swing north a bit. Is there an easiyish option that doesn't involve St Johns / Glasgow Rd, as dont fancy that @ 0900.
