A flashing ambulance and fire appliance each made it through the Gogarabout in less than a minute apiece after people shuffled out of their way. Then we realised no-one could get out of the car park because the place was in lock-down (and perhaps because the barriers also require electricity).</p> <p>Burglar alarms as far as Longstone were still singing merrily to the world when I finally hit the road. I heard the trams lost power, as did a whole bunch of traffic lights. Anyone know how extensive the power cut was? Twitter reported 'west Edinburgh'.</p> <p>[Thought about putting this in the Spotted thread, but it's really more of an 'un-spotted' incident.] </p>
