Instead, councils would have to fund their own sections, with help from the private sector.</em></p> <p>So how is this actually any different from the current situation ?</p> <p>They may as well say “we fully intend to build a national network of world-class aerial cycle routes the entire length and breadth of the UK, suspended by skyhooks*. </p> <p>*Obviously we will do this only when skyhook technology is commercially viable. </p>
