<description>&#60;p&#62;A good long distance ride for a local couple. Can't find the original thread but relieved that they've arrived safely.&#60;br /&#62;
Twin recliner survived but with one wheel rebuild!&#60;br /&#62;
Bike lanes on much of the route were not available and Southern tier routes could be 4x4 territory.&#60;br /&#62;
A highly readable blog with good photos. Despite the 'old school' banter that Clif uses, together with Susan they make a good team to have jointly survived what this route threw at them. Quite a few roadside repairs and challenges. This is their third big transcontinental tour. Rest of time they use solo uprights.&#60;br /&#62;
Temperature extremes from days at 40 in Mississippi to chill winds on the high Sierra.&#60;br /&#62;
2800+ miles.&#60;br /&#62;
