Though they do want to consult specifically with the locals, who it is felt do not respond or do not get asked or somesuch. So well intentioned.</p> <p>Here is a bit of info for @wingpig (I confess I do not know what a Ransom Strip is)</p> <p>There is a landownership plan in the slides within the consultation that give the most up to date picture. The majority of the land was bought earlier this year from National Grid. Some was already owned by the Council (e.g. the industrial estates). I don’t think there are any significant title issues over for example ransom strips. </p>
