You can cycle on it on skinny tyres the aqueduct isn't great for skinny tyres. But you can start at the park behind the canal at longstone.</p> <p>The wee bridges are a bit of a pain for drop handles bars. There is a stretch after Heriot Watt to Ratho of newish paved track.
