That said, I can accept you may have political disagreements with the group in question and its members, one of them I think is a professor at your university? For clarity, I posted the link above because it sets out very clearly its findings from the documents released by "Anonymous". I'm not necessarily endorsing their views on the Syrian conflict, Russia, or the UK government's role. One does not have to agree with a point of view to see the benefit of certain information being presented coherently in the public domain.</p> <p>Anyway, Private Eye and The Ferret also digging on story perhaps gives some confidence that this is not just some "conspiracy theory". Of course, that latter term is very useful for state actors attempting to discredit any criticism or questioning from non-mainstream sources. This is how the terms "cyclist" and "eco-warrior" become linked by the media. It's a short step away from cyclist = eco-warrior. And as Greenroofer points out, they don't say "person on a bike" but "cyclist".
