That's what I've been thinking - that high-tech hipster types like to live in the inner city, rather than in the suburbs, and connect via smart phones and public transport.</p> <p>He also touched on the class issue - that people from poorer backgrounds see the car as a status symbol. Also, of course, they are often less well provided with public transport and cycle routes - and storing cycles may be an issue.
