Great for teaching kids to cycle from balance bike upwards. I suspect ‘motorsport’ events tend to be more expensive. </p> <p>The Fife Cycle Park is an impressive ‘thing’. I know a <em>bit</em> about the background and some of the people behind it. One reason is ‘cycle sport’ <em>and</em> getting more people interested/involved, <em>perhaps</em> more effectively than the Glasgow Velodrome (I don’t know). </p> <p>It exists (unlike the long planned ‘facility’ at Hunters Hall). All involved think it's a great facility - it's floodlit so good for winter evenings, the tarmac is smooth, and of course it's traffic free.
