I think one issue was the cones at the east end were gone. So maybe 9a.m. Is end and they ended sharply? The tabarded one said I have absolutely no idea.</p> <p>Given what sounded like a blanket policy I am afraid I was quite direct with the motorist who said she could drive through. She was going slowly. Possibly to pick up a sick child? Or given I had earlier swerved to avoid hitting a dad and a child leaving the hospital at the cones who were carrying a big bag of stuff something worse.</p> <p>So have I stupidly castigated a motorist who was allowed to drive through despite the road being closed? Like if you have a poorly child or similar?</p> <p>Or should it be zero exceptions? </p>
