This (from December) might have been the delay story, but I definitely read it in English.

I like that the Dutch call it the "whisky ferry". I'd imagine a whisky ferry from Norway would be pretty popular as well.

May 2020: Dunfermline Press article

I'm sure I read something about the Eemshaven link being delayed to allow the NL customs infra to be built, but that was before lockdown and God knows what the demand forecasts for that route look like now.

Has there been any movement on this ferry proposal? I was chatting with a friend about it and this (September 2019) is the latest we can find:

https://www.dunfermlinepress.com/news/17870354.rosyth-ferry-plans-39-advanced-stage-39/?fbclid=IwAR26IF4DK-P4P-iwgRZLuVKvTNlpkSBW5IzEzQfZiu-C20Xap6TeWqiQJqY

Any FOI to Transport Scotland would probably come back as refused owing to commercial interests.

'TEC-Ferragon, part of Perthshire-based TEC Offshore group, has contracts in place for ferries and crew to start a service between the Fife ferry terminal and the Dutch seaport which is run by Groningen Seaports."
