@bill, yes the darkness comes around every year and yet still surprises people

@CycleCommute THe Easter Hailes Gait tunnel at Colinton is one massive Acid Trip of cheery colourful murals with RObert Louis Stevenson conection and railway themes. Includes boards of additional paintings as well as directly on te brickwork. Many schools contributing sections.

There is a rainbow

Talking Heads Water Flowing Underground (on the ceiling)

all happening

also very well lit

Get a massive nerf gun with a drum magazine and strafe them while screaming BLINDER. They'll get the hint.

Cap, dip your head instead of shouting.

Its much more effective than howling at the moon.

It's possibly the lesser of two evils. Overly bright lights are better than no lights.

@gembo I suppose yesterday lots of people were caught by surprise with the darkness (and that will continue that for the next few weeks).

Tonight lot of unlit bikes, unlit peds and blinding oncoming head torches and bike lights. In years gone by I would shout out BLINDING etc but now i just thank the odd person who dips. Towpath is an endurance until the WoL Path then it is fairly good. Was chatting to the muralist in the tunnel, big jump forwards. He says spring 2020 but is maybe 2/3rds done?
