Not sure what current situation is. Dutch used to using convenient bike ways on two wheels - fast e-bikes just another itteration.</p> <p>Henny - the wife of bike shop owner we know in Amsterdam - was knocked off her bike couple of years back by scooter going too fast and not giving way at cycle path junction. Broken collarbone and her commute to Utrecht became much longer as she was off cycling for a while.
