In what will surprised no-one, none of this happened.

Presumably some killjoy at Transport Scotland decided relaxed consultation rules didn't apply to permanent legal orders.

The emerging guidance on consultations for planning is currently being reviewed to determine if these new
arrangements would also apply to the statutory requirements for TRO and RO advertising.

I've taken the view that detailed feedback probably isn't worth the effort, unless there's a glaring problem, but a quick five minute positive response is.

Good luck to anyone who can summon the strength to respond to that lot!

I know I can't really be bothered, frankly.....except for some that are very local to me, perhaps.

I figured this was an interesting enough progress update on some projects that it might warrant its own thread. A pretty large number of projects are due to be consulted upon soon, some as statutory consultations and others as general project consultations.

Projects listed:
Statutory (e.g. TRO/RSO)

City Centre West to East Link (CCWEL) - N St David St Charlotte Sq, St Andrew Sq,
CCWEL Section 2
CCWEL Sections 1 &2
CCWEL Temp layout
Meadows to George Street
West Edinburgh Link
Marchmont to King Buildings
Meadows to Union Canal
Bioquarter to Dalkeith Road and Mayfield
Roseburn Path – Union Canal
"QuiteRoute 6 - Grange Road
Crossings"

Project Consultations

Pennywell Road
Morrison Street pedestrian and cycle improvements
QuietRoute8 - Roseburn to Gyle
QuiteRoute 9 - Costorphine to The Gyle
"QuietRoute 51 -
St Leonards to Canongate"
QuietRoute 60 - Clermiston Junction
Quiet Route 5 – Holyrood Park
"A8 Gyle – Newbridge - 2020
works."
20mph Speed Limit Review
"St. David's and Pirniehall Primary Schools Parent Travel
Survey 2020"

The majority are due for April/May with some potentially in June/'Summer' and Roseburn-Canal in September.

Leadership Advisory Panel - Consultation Planning Report. The interesting bit is appendix 2: https://democracy.edinburgh.gov.uk/documents/s23847/7.3%20Consultation%20Planning%20Report.pdf
