I've put my cross bike up for sale on the Edinburgh bikes for sale Facebook group. Very shiny :)
Let me know that you're a CCEr if you're interested.

I also have a bike to get rid of. Edinburgh Bicycle Cross bike with carbon forks and mechanical disc brakes, plus I've added SKS mudguards. Bought in March 2014 and only ridden just over 100 miles on it. (I got pregnant just after I bought it and now I ride an ebike...).
It's a large frame: I'm 6' and it's fine for me.
Bought for something north of £700 but I can't remember the exact amount, I'd like to get £400 back but very open to offers. Murrayfield.

Rob
The C'dale is from circa 2010 the only original components are frame, fork, stem, bars and wheels.
All brakes & drive chain have been upgraded.
Size wise. I think it would be a wee bit small for anyone over 6'
I'm 5'7" and its OK for me.
You're welcome to view (as long as we socially distance of course).
However sale is pending on it as we speak so may not be available this time tomorrow.
Will try and get photos done asap but it's just started raining!

Genesis Day Zero converted to a singlespeed (with flip flop hub so you can go single without the pain of fixed).
Medium size.
Professionally re-sprayed by Henderson in Abbeyhill a nice understated battleship grey.
Flat bars. Cost over £700 to rebuild with all new parts
Hoping for £500

EBC Cuillen Sport 26" wheel mountain bike. Mechanical disc brakes and front suspension.
Currently fitted with slick tyres but can thrown in a brand new pair of unbranded MTB knobbly tyres if needed.
Black size Medium. £175

Cannondale Bad Boy hybrid. 700c tyres, back one is nearing the end of its life and needs replaced soon. Black size Medium. Recently serviced hydraulic disc brakes. New rear cassette & chain fitted less than 50km ago.
My current commuter so well used with lots of superficial dings so not 'desireable' by would be bike thieves.
Mechanical sound and well specced bike.
Open to sensible offers around the £450 mark.

Genesis IOID mountain bike. 8 speed Alfine internal rear hub gears. Hydraulic Disc brakes plus Rockshox forks.
Rear hub could do with an oil change as it is sounding rough. Runs OK but I'm not skilled enough to service the hub so it would need to go to an LBS for some TLC.
Currently has a broken rear spoke which I will replace.
Sensible offers around the £450 mark.

Genesis Croix der Fer steel Cyclocross bike. Kinesis carbon forks. Again re-sprayed by Hendersons in a natty tangerine colour.
Complete rebuild with a 1x11 set up and Shimano 105 components. Rear tyre nearing the end of its life (WTB Nanos 700x40c).
Currently has a carbon seat post & Brooks C15 saddle which I want to keep. Will refit original seat post and saddle - unless buyer wants to make me an offer for the Brooks.
£750 no offers and no time wasters on this one as anything less and I will keep it.

Refurbished retro Raleigh Street Crusier with 8 speed Sturmey Archer internal hub gear & rear coaster brake. Brand new Schwalbe Street Cruiser cream side-wall tyres. I've been cutting about on this the past few weeks and it's a bit of a 'head turner'.
£75

Also have full set of Apidura bike packing kit - fits the Bad Boy, CdF & IOID not sure of value (will do some research and post a price tomorrow but was hoping for £100). Full set is veteran of 2 x Capital Trails, Paris-Brest-Paris, London-Edinburgh-London plus numerous local expeditions. Well loved, a bit battered in places, still loads of life left and a cheap way into Bike-packing.

I am sure HankChief will vouch for me if needed after we survived LEL in 2017.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow if I get time. If I get time ha ha..... what else am I going to do tomorrow!

Thanks for reading.

For assorted reasons I have several bikes that I need to sell.
Before heading down the eBay/Gumtree route I thought I would post on this site.
Are there any protocols that need to be followed or is selling on here a 'no no'.
I have approached a couple of LBS but both advised I'd get a better price selling privately.
I would prefer to sell locally during this lockdown period as I can't be bothered with posting etc
Also allows potential buyers to see the bikes before committing to the deal & hopefully know that I am a genuine private seller who isn't there to rip them off.
I just need to realize some cash in these difficult times.
All bikes in good mechanical order and fully serviced by me (Velotech Gold/Platinum trained mechanic).
Full details and pictures will be posted if site rules allow.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice offered.
