Someone has dumped a huge heap of rubbish west of the robots blocking the farmer's access to the field beside B&amp;Q. Higher than head height, so I assume the farmer has been having to pile it up mechanically every now and again to keep the road clear.</p> <p>I pass it as I usually double back east before I get to where the gate now is. There are some nice wee tracks across the fields, over the railway and down to the Old Craighall Road at Monktonhall Garage. From there it's easy (OK, one gate to climb) to get into Dalkeith Estate.
