I was in tears when watching the footage of the moon landings on the 50th anniversary in 1969. </p> <p>The control personnel then were all men and white. Now we have a contrast in history of more women, more non-whites. Obviously not been paying attention through all the talk of sending people there!</p> <p>The latter plan is perhaps part of my concern - the value/point/‘morality’ of putting so much effort/scientific endeavour into such things - and why it’s being done.
