BikeRadar has posted their new review of the new Cateye Inou video camera. It seems they don't know quite what to make of it.

http://www.bikeradar.com/commuting/news/article/cateye-inou-gps-camera-first-look-28976

There's also a brief look at Cateye's new death ray headlight that looks more like Darth Vader's shaver.

Interesting. Looks like fun and I like the idea of the time-lapse settings and that it has geocoding etc.

As you say though, it's not "cheap", perhaps in 6 months or a year cheaper rivals will appear. There's other cycling things I'd spend £200 on first (Tubus lowrider front rack and a pair of ortlieb frontrollers (regulation yellow) if anyone is feeling extra generous :D ).

Cateye - best known for LED lights and cycle computers - has produced a stills/video camera.

Described as "fit and forget", it has easily usable buttons (unlike the tiny ones on the Vimeo) and records GPS information.

Not cheap - £200 - but neither are some 'serious' lighting systems that some people buy.
