It *seems* to be in Forth ward, but they futzed with the border between Forth and Almond a few years ago so I'm not 100% sure. It's not within my own ward so I never bothered writing their councillors(prior experience tells me the only thing more futile than reaching out to councillors in other wards is trying to do it with the ones in mine :P ).

That's crazy. Do you know who the local councillors are and if there's a good one to take this up with?

Someone on twitter highlighted this nonsense: https://citydev-portal.edinburgh.gov.uk/idoxpa-web/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=R3OQBQEWH5V00

EDIT: Forgot the photie(from @jazzniki) https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FHtdEbEXMAcjO72?format=jpg&name=large

They want to stick a phone mast and associated cabinets on the last bit of the current Granton shared use path, outside the self storage place. This despite it having a divider strip between it and the road and being next to a car park and a big patch of grass, so there's no shortage of places to put it. I put in an objection, might be worth a few other folk who use the path whacking one in as well - it has to be drummed into the planning officers that they should be actively avoiding proposals that take away pavement space.
