The ones SRD had on her folder [Edit: originally] were stubby things I added as replacements when I decided to put my old Onza bar ends onto another bike.</p> <p>On my Elephant Bike I realised that a lot of the time I was riding with the edges of my hands resting on the handlebar grips, with my fingers curled into loose, relaxed fists. My <a href="https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/handlebars/sjsc-ergo-control-bar-end-grip-black/">bar ends came from St John Street Cycles</a> and clamp over the last half an inch of handlebar, so not much loss in handlebar space.</p> <p><a href="https://flic.kr/p/22GoyUG"><img src="https://live.staticflickr.com/807/39182112320_145c724506.jpg"></a><a href="https://flic.kr/p/22GoyUG">Rack and roll</a></p> <p>If it's just bar ends you want, the Bike Station has a whole boxful to choose from. Both the ones that came on my bike and the ones I've found online are "ergonomic" so they have to be angled a certain way relative to your riding/arms posture, and since the ones I see are made for the "roadie hunch" the horns would be wonky on mine. I'll maybe just wait and ask at Hart's when I put the bike in for a service.</p> <p>EDIT: Nevermind, just as I go to close the Amazon window it recommends me one where the position of the horns can be adjusted relative to the rest. I find when I'm just toddling along at slower speeds I often end up shifting my hands to hold on to the outside ends of my Gazelle's grips rather than holding them "properly" because it's more comfortable, and it seems like having supplementary upright grips would be good for that, but everything I can find seems geared towards road and gravel bikes with a very forward posture - I've seen plenty of "horns" style full replacement grips for example, but if you orient them so the "proper" grip is correct for an upright position the protruding parts would be almost straight forwards instead of up &amp; down.</p> <p><img src="https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51uLvf1hIHL._AC_SL1000_.jpg"> </p>
