Old copy of Spokes 'Edinburgh Cycle Map' in the window of Oxfam books Morningside at the moment - 99p.

Not sure of the year but features a drawing of a woman in Victorian dress being squeezed between an LRT bus and truck.

(Only some of the bus is visible but appears to have the destination 'Morningside' and the bus number ends in a 9 (or possible is just 9) - not sure what bus that would be, but maybe it is not accurate).

If you have any 1 inch to a mile OS 7th series printed on cloth my father collects them.

If you have any OS 1:50 000 of the non-mountainous parts of Scotland I could be interested (I have all the maps I need for Munros, and quite a few others, but would quite like to get a complete set of the whole of Scotland. My father has maybe 150-200 1:50s as well as the 1" maps. He likes maps. So do I.)

I’m at the early stage of sorting out my ‘collection’.

Mix of Spokes, OS and other.

Some just duplicates, others ‘I’ll never look at again’.

Since Google, papers map are curiosities or ‘fascinating bits of history’.

May bring to a PY or put in a box for someone who really likes maps.

PM if you want to keep your collecting habit secret…
