But today for the first time, I was going from from the meadows south on blackford and turning right onto Charterhall. </p> <p>There’s a right turn lane there, which I presume is for people making that same manoeuvre. </p> <p>Except when the light went green, a car coming the opposite way on Blackford ave (ie from Kings bldgs) turned left into the space I was planning to cycle into.</p> <p> Is that supposed to happen? Maybe I’m just confused because that junction is so wide and has so many legs. </p> <p>I was slightly concerned because I had told micro-SRD to cycle that way later on, which she did, but said she had no problem. </p> <p>I had a slight panic that it had said no right turn, but google maps reassures me that there is indeed a right turn lane. </p>
