Should I use the road instead?</p> <p> When then turning left to head south on North St Andrews Street, and I'm on the pavement as directed, I can cycle off the pavement onto the road after the turn, although it's narrow and raised and pedestrians will not be pleased (rightly so). If, however, I'm on the road and the traffic light is green, I can simply turn left, avoiding trams (light's green) and tram lines but there's a sign saying 'Trams only', so I should push the bike for 2m?
