"Make way for Harold Noyd, dada da dada..." I'd forgotten about those vintage happy teatimes, watching grown men hanging off horizontal flagpoles.

Purdy. However I was hoping this was going to be a Harold Lloyd thread.

Suppliers of Vintage Bicycle Transfers and Decals

Superb. The site is pretty rough and ready, and not necessarily welcoming, but it does what it says on the tin. You can peruse a list of decals and transfers that they make up for you following original designs. Send them a cheque, or pay by paypal, and they send them to you, in a sturdy cardboard-backed envelope.

Each type of transfer (decal and waterslide in my case) comes in its own plastic pocket with detailed instructions not only on fitting them, with little hints and tips, but also on varnishing them so they last.

The 'laser cut' decals (which they explain aren't really laser anythinged) simply stick on; the waterslides will be obvious to anyone who has made a model plane. And it only took me a few minutes to get them onto my Sunbeam frame.

Decal

Waterslide

Highly recommended if you're undertaking a restoration.
