It also restates support for dualling the A9 north of Perth, dualling Nairn to Inverness, then goes on to say just how critical climate change is: "the stakes could not be higher", and "we will continue to drive down emissions in a draft Climate Change Plan, with bold action across transport...".</p> <p>Since I've also been reading Transport Scotland's route map to achieving a 20% reduction in car kilometres, I'm not sure how we square this if we carry on building roads (and, I suppose, houses). </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=21353#post-370154 Tue, 05 Sep 2023 16:42:15 +0000 Morningsider 370154@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>The Scottish Programme for Government 2023-24, published today, makes no mention of the prohibitions on pavement parking, dropped kerb parking and double parking.
