Not sure about the Tuttle thing, but I'll happily accept it.</p> <p>While not it's main goal, it was a wonderfully joyous and uplifting experience, a bit of an antidote to the previous day's going on. Noted that neither Scott Arthur nor Sanne Dijkstra-Downie, who both joined and shared being part of the last ride, showed face this time. There is a fine line between <em>needing</em> to ride as part of a group and <em>wanting</em> to ride as part of a group (because people who cycle - and people who motorbike - frequently contrive reasons to ride for the fun of it). I was sitting with 600 page committee papers (with a foregone conclusion) and just suddenly imagined being on my deathbed and how unhappy I'd be at spending another moment on it.. and that was that.
