I always have ascents calculated by the map rather than by GPS on mine as the GPS is crazy. The LEJOG record breakers hang around Lands End/Penzance all spring waiting for a fearsome South Westerly then off they go - boom 45 hours and they are at John O'Groats.</p> <p>There was an Ironman going for the JOGLEJOG record which is something like 7 days last year on the CTC forum that isn't half as interesting as this one.
