Main road Bridge is now completely shut and has been dug up.</p> <p>Temporary bridge in place, typical cyclist dismount signs up. It's quite narrow and probably too tight for a larger than normal bike and obviously no use to those who cannot dismount. The high points have been someone internal to Scottish water mandating a cycle-width access past sewer works on Rosebery Crescent to keep CCWEL intact — after pressure from Spokes — and the future George St redevelopment works mandating two-way cycle access along the street throughout (which is ambitious but it's baked into the continuing approval of the project). The low points are the ones like this that pop up with hee-haw in the way of even 'easy wins' to provide continued passage.</p> <p>I'll pass that Quiet Route 9 bit on to Robbie, that's good to know. I have found the orders to close the road but no plans mentioning the little bit of path.
