I rode from Kinross to Perth with Anna & the others on 16th August, booking on the 03.19 coach (E3) Glasgow-Dumfries with my bike and changing to the E1 Dundee Edinburgh at St Madoes at 05.00, to arrive for breakfast, cycle in via Glenfarg

The 03.19 coach was surprisingly busy too with late night revellers in Glasgow, mostly using their U22 bus passes! Annoyed that I left my phone charging cable in Perth, as we had the saga of Anna's bike (spokes, freewheel....) falling apart as the ride progressed!

Sally H joined them in D&G

Wed 29 October 19.00 Quaker meeting house

Pasting details below from FB. Some of you may, like me, have loved Tim's trip reports from North Africa, Georgia and elsewhere. His pictures and descriptions of the scenery and the food were always amazing.

Ride for Tim
In August 2025 we cycled from Land's End to John o' Groats in memory of our friend Tim, who tragically took his life earlier in the year.

This event is a chance to share stories from the LEJOG ride as well as talk about cycling and mental health, and pay tribute to Tim. It's in aid of the three charities we raised money for during the ride: Mind, Sustrans and Flight Free UK. The event is free to attend but you will be encouraged to make a donation to the fundraiser! The fundraiser is here: https://givewheel.com/fundraising/6774/ride-for-tim/

We will have a few speakers, some who knew Tim, some who were on the ride, and some who work professionally in mental health and cycling.

The website for the ride gives a bit of background to Tim and the charities, and there's a diary of the journey as well: https://timcyclesthecoast.com/

All welcome
