The 12ft.io web site is non-responsive.</p> <p>The other alternative which used to be quite handy was archive.is. That wasn't a prefix as such, you went to the archive.is web site, entered the URL of the paywalled site and it would either download a paywall-free version, or someone would have asked for it already and it would just give you the URL for the already de-paywalled version.
