Unfortunately I can't make it this time, but I would encourage anyone thinking about it to just give it a go. PoP is a joyous occasion and pretty much every attendee is super friendly. You are really there as a reassuring presence, to conduct a bit of light crowd control, and to act as eyes and ears for the professionals (police, council, ambulance etc).
