<description>&#60;p&#62;recombodna - thanks for posting this.  Bill Houston -(was that his name?) - my new hero.  I loved his categorising of  Icelandic rivers - you can wade across them if the water level comes up to just under the lad's bit.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Auchinleck where he came from had the railway station removed probably just when that film was made.  It is back now. The pit is long gone.  If you are not faint hearted you can still go there to watch something called Scottish Junior Football.  This is not to be confused with football.  For example - Auchinleck Talbot 0 Kilbirnie Ladeside 0.  Still spoken of as the greatest ever match.  26 bookings, 4 red cards, 3 broken legs, 3 pitch invasions.  Boswall of Johnson and Boswall fame was Lord Auchinleck
