Something to do with putting cover on bike before remembering that it needed locking, then putting lock upside down (one of the reasons I hate the Abus is that the cable can only go on one side of the D), and the key is very fiddly. My lighter lock from EBC will relock sans key, which is a much better system. And as I was leaning over, trying to make the key 'go' the lock rebounded into my face. Just a reflection of my klutziness, I think.
