I squirted Waxoyl all inside my old Specialized Stumpjumper Comp when it came back from Mario Vaz in London for painting. I didn't want the vintage Tange Prestige tubing rusting through too quickly.

I have a brand new can of Waxoyl to winterproof my Brompton, but haven't done it yet. The main downside is that the product bears all of those skulls and crossbones and dead whale warning signs. :-(

There must be a market for "Greenoyl" made from chip fat and buttercups and concentrated self-righteousness.

Ahh that's better, I can read it at last!!
I've concluded that the bike will be heavy enough and being a tourer with thicker tubes it should be ok :)

Waxoyl works, but it's quite heavy. You might find it hard to get coverage in all the nooks and crannies too. For car use it's common to drill holes to get access then plug them afterwords; probably not a good thing to do on a bike frame.

Site seems to be struggling just now! I'll try again, building up my (shiny new :-)) Surly LHT frame as a tourer/year round commuter, I'm swithering whether or not to try putting waxoyl inside the frame to prevent corrosion. Anyone got any experience/advice/opinions?
Cheers, S
