So, on normal school days one actually sees them working on keeping the grounds clean, tidy etc. I _really_ like that! Compared to another Christmas Fair I've been to (serveral times; certain church in Edinburgh), the Steiners one seemed to be designed around and aimed mainly at children, whereas the other one was designed to raise as MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE - children just get in the way. One of those 'unless you've been through it you'll probably not understand' things. The amount of times people said to us 'It's just kids playing, it's what they do'. And then they came round.
