The wheel attachment isn't as neat on a Jackson as I remember. Longstaff uses a hex taper on the half shafts. Quite ipressive, considering how weak the maerial from a printer used to be.</p> <p>These printing machines have been around for a while and are now able to print in various materials including metals. They are also getting much cheaper, to the point where I know someone who has one.</p> <p>It's possible they will soon be disruptive in a number of areas and I expect cycling to be one of them.</p> <p>Imagine being able to download and print off (or have your LBS print off) a part that you need or to customise a part to your exact requirements? Or to be able to draw up the bike you want on an iPhone app and have it printed for you? Don't fix it.
