Well you need one of those racks then and a special giant cage for Arrelcat's bikes :)

Image 7 with the little lockers might be useful, but remember that any secure cage with locking doors will automatically exclude any non-standard bikes unless specifically designed. Not just long recumbents or trike recumbents, but tandems and bike trailers too.

Dave, let me have a word with my work's travel plan person on Monday. We've installed several covered cycle racks in the past year or so.

Image 7, with the protective screen and little lockers looks good. Can't see what it would afford in terms of "protection" without the screen, beyond rain falling form a limited number of directions)

Hmm. I'm now officially tasked with putting together a proposal, fully costed.

Teach me to stick my head above the parapet!

Currently looking at one of these 10 bike puppies, but have no idea what the installation cost would be:

I've mentioned before that we are moving offices soon, to Ocean Point. Strangely given the location, it only provides Sheffield stands and the number of half-bikes littering the area does not inspire much confidence.

So, the bike users in the company are trying to wangle lockers or something similar. The boss has invited suggestions of what we might fit and costing etc. so I'm trying to put some feelers out.

(It's not even certain that we'd be allowed to put lockers anywhere, although I know that ChangeWorks, who're in the same building, have got some somewhere).

Any suggestions?
